The Fen-Tech EVAP-O-DRY Evaporation Systems feature submerged combustion that is designed to efficiently evaporate wastewaters, with the option to auger out settled solids build-up in the tank bottom.A submerged burner tube fires below the solution level, which achieves 95% + energy efficiency. The hot gases contact with the liquid and creates an almost instantaneous vapor while the combustion gases rapidly mix the liquid for even heat distribution. Efficiency will vary depending on wastewater.Through extensive testing by Fen-Tech, we have proven submerged combustion can save as much as 25% in energy cost over serpentine tubes and hot plates. We offer a standard 304 SS for all wetted surfaces; Other corrosion options are available,316L, Inconel or FRP.
