Fen-Tech History
Fen-Tech Environmental Inc and Fenton Environmental Technologies Inc. are Texas based companies that were founded in 1985 as the Fenton Company.

Fenton pioneered sludge dehydration using auger technology as the method of sludge conveyance through dehydration. Fenton quickly became the leader in the dehydration of metal finishing wastes that were designated hazardous and classified F006 by the EPA

The relatively small heavy metals market became saturated in the early 90's: however, the Federal EPA was developing new rules regarding the disposal of municipal sewage sludge and certain wastewaters. Fenton realized that this shift in emphasis by the EPA would create a large demand for the efficient dehydration of organic materials and evaporation of wastewaters. At this time, Fenton branched into two separate companies, Fenton Environmental Technologies specializing in sludge dehydration systems, and Fen-Tech Environmental to handle the wastewater evaporation systems.

The combined staff of Fenton and Fen-Tech used their collective experience and has sold over 750 Sludge Dehydration Systems and Wastewater Evaporation Systems.

Seeking viable solutions for the municipal and industrial waste has been Fen-Tech's and Fenton's agenda since 1985, with hundreds of custom designed systems in place throughout the world.
